Only a quarter away from ending the year, and we’ve already seen a tonne of hair trends come and go, including various hues of brunette and half-pigtails. However, it’s intriguing to watch what patterns are still in the works and what the rest of the year may bring.

Looking at what hairstyles will be popular in 2019, we can see that the easygoing, carefree look will continue, although with a slight modification. A lot of these styles emphasize two opposites: a lot of texture or something sleek and refined.

But the abrupt cuts that go along with the texture are a feature of both types. Many of our favourite styles, including blunt straight bobs and blunt layered hairstyles, are receiving an upgrade.

To find out what haircuts and hairstyles will be popular this year, keep scrolling.

1)Textured Layers

We’ve seen textured layers added to a lot of haircuts, and it doesn’t seem like the trend will disappear anytime soon. These layers have a great deal of flexibility and may be worn with either short hair or long hair. Therefore, this is a style that virtually anyone may wear, and it’s one of the simplest hairdo ideas for 2022.

2) Braids

It’s hardly shocking that the carefree style will continue beyond 2022. We see this carefree, messy style a lot more as more and more individuals give up hot tools and feel at ease wearing their natural textured hair. These braids have the perfect balance of neat and sloppy without seeming too unkempt.

3) Brunette Hair

In recent weeks, several of our favourite models and celebrities have chosen medium chocolate colours over the previously fashionable blonde balayage. The reason for this is probably that people like to wear darker clothing in the winter, but we can definitely see this trend continuing long into 2022. Ask your colorist for a chocolate brown shade to achieve this tone.

We also like this appearance since bleach damage, which is frequently associated with blonde hair, won’t be an issue.

4)Blunt Bob

Do you recall the sleek and refined looks we discussed earlier? This is it, then! Blunt bobs have always been a classic hairstyle, but recently on social media, many users have been forgoing their long, luxurious locks in favour of a haircut with a French influence. Hey, who are we to judge them? It won’t be long before this style becomes dated.

5) Blunt Lobs

Perhaps you don’t feel the need for such a short style as a bob? Instead, try out a lob. This long bob is a contemporary interpretation of the typical blunt bob, but it’s quickly approaching classic status. If you want to go shorter in the new year but don’t want a bob, we think this is a wonderful choice.

6) Curtain Bangs

The most popular fringe style of 2021 was without a doubt curtain bangs. This design will continue through 2022 with a somewhat longer fringe. This is a terrific style for those who are just starting out with bangs because you can keep them out of updos and tuck them behind your ear if you choose to keep them out of your face.

7) Textured Fringe

The era of flawlessly straight and styled bangs is long gone. Because everyone has been letting their natural texture show through, bangs have been embracing this style as well. Before, a lot of individuals believed that they had to wear their hair wavy if they wanted to wear their bangs straight. We are so delighted that this trend has individuals leaving their curls loose even with bangs!
