Hi Petrica!

Off lately, I was talking about you to my husband. I miss you and your company so much. Nevertheless, I will meet you soon and we will plan something. Petrica, last week, my husband got a nebulizer at home. But, I argued that steamers are always better. So, can you please make me understand that are nebulizers better or steamers?

I will be waiting for your answer.

Regards,

Mathen

Hi Mathen!

I know gorgeous we, have not met for long. And I promise you that we will meet soon. And about your question, a nebulizer is used to administer a medication deep into the lungs of a person when they have breathing issues.

I got a nebulizer last week, and believe me it is very helpful. I had a severe cough last week and could not breathe. So, the nebulizer was my savior. So, yes, they can be used at home. It is very easy to use them. It is always better for drug delivery as compared to inhalers. You just have to pour the drug into the chamber, and put on the mask, and start the machine. It’s that simple!

Also, a nebulizer can never be compared to a steamer as they both serve different purposes. Talking about a steamer, it is always useful and appropriate for nose and throat illnesses, whereas a nebulizer is more apt for ailments of the lungs. But for me, it worked to cure the cough issues I had.

In medical terms, a nebulizer is used for treating chronic conditions such as COPD. I would also suggest you that please consult a doctor before fetching one because doctors know the best.

Thank you!
