Sephora’s brilliant product is a colorless lip liner, hence the name Universal Lip Liner. It leaves the lips colorless and can be worn beneath any lipstick. The best aspect is that it doesn’t change the color of the lipstick at all while producing the same results as a traditional lip liner, namely adding definition, making it last longer, and making the color pop.
It has a waxy feel to it. When I applied it to my lips, it felt like I was using a wax crayon, which isn’t the most pleasant of sensations. It’s also quite matte. When you apply it, you will notice some pulling and tugging of the lips. Aside from that, it is colourless, so you can’t see it.
