Hi Kiara!

This is Joseph. I love my kids, but tell me one thing, how do I tell them that they are terrible at something?

Let me know your reply on this.

Thank you!

Joseph

Hi Joseph!

I appreciate your worry, but allow me to reword this query for you. How can I let someone know that they are a bad parent? The youngster looks to their parents for help, inspiration, direction, and approval. Have you ever observed how little children will draw pictures and then rush to show you? Guess what, though? They are acting in this manner because they want you to be satisfied with their efforts or effort. They want you to complement their artwork because they know that doing so will inspire them to keep creating art. Whether it results in improvement is unimportant. It’s like to slapping your child in the face to tell them they are horrible at anything.

It is not only blatantly cruel and insensitive, but it is also completely ineffective. Nobody on earth is capable of mastering everything they do, so as children become older, they inevitably become aware of their strengths and weaknesses.

Have some heart, please.

Thank you!

Kiara
