QUESTION

Hi Kiara,

I hope you are well. I am pondering how to treat my partner unconventionally this time in celebration of Men’s Day. Since he pampers me so much, I want to shower him with love. Could you please give me some recommendations?

Love,

Josie!

ANSWER

Hi Josie,

Somehow, we think romance and pampering a loved one is only a man’s job. However, I am happy to hear that you think that way. They should be pampered as well before you ask them for anything.

In honor of “International Men’s Day“, which is on Saturday, November 19, here are some ideas to make your man feel special:

Breakfast time … in bed, of course.

Ladies shouldn’t be the only ones who enjoy breakfast in bed. Men should also be treated unconventionally to their favorite breakfast once in a while. You can also brew the finest coffee for him if he prefers to start the day with coffee alone.

Calm down his nerves.

The most relaxing way for us (ladies) to ease back from stress is to get a massage from him. Hey!!!! Do you know that the man massaging you also has a body and is just as stressed as you are? To relax him, lay him on his chest and rub your oily hands all over his body, mind, and soul to relax him. It won’t take much for a simple head massage to make a big difference.

Let’s spend money, ladies!

If you are in constant demand and don’t want to give anything away, it’s a bad sign. There is absolutely no harm in spending your money on them. You could go to a gift shop and choose something you know he will like, or you can take him out of all expenses paid to a restaurant.

Organize his space!

When his space is messy, surprise him by tidying it up. This surprise could be a great way to melt your guy’s heart. You could do his laundry, clean his kitchen, organize his bookshelves, or change his sheets.

Let him know, in the end, that you care for him every minute and that you will strive to do your best for him.

Love,

Kiara!
