Hi Petrica!

I hope babe you are doing well? You know, yesterday when I was dropping my kid off at his school, I became nostalgic, and so many school memories hit me hard. I was just smiling and cherishing those moments I had lived with my best friend. So, Petrica, what is your best school memory?  I want to know.

Thank you!

Leena

Hi Leena!

Thank you so much for writing to me. Well, last Saturday only, I was discussing this with my husband. There are so many beautiful school memories I had with my schoolmates. But, let me tell you, I had zero fashion sense. As it was my board, I did not spend time surfing the latest internet trends because I used to look horrible. Also, when I eyed other girls, they were looking drop-dead gorgeous. So, somewhere I started feeling inferior. But then, when I shared this thing with my school teacher, she explained to me that a woman’s beauty is her inner confidence, and she should be proud of it. I realized this and trust me, I could see a major transformation.

You know Leena, I was always fortunate to be a part of the primary three societies in the school: Editorial Board, Debating, and Student Council.

I had always looked forward to the debating season. The one-line zingers during the open house session were so much fun. Also, whenever we had any cultural programs in the schools, we used to conduct those secret meetings that would always lead to something very productive. We also had free access to almost the entire school and were allowed to have a full-colored magazine. You know Leena, the best part about school days was that we used to live so freely. No tension, no worries, just living the magical moments that stretch our lips a little wider. I have certain memories that rejuvenate me and keep me alive when I have my low days.

Love,

Petrica
