Hi Petrica!

I hope you are having a good week. I am always concerned for my daughter’s health. She insists on buying health drinks while we go grocery shopping. We bought her a couple of health drinks, but I think they are not suitable for your health. So, Petrica can you please explain if we should get her the health drinks or not? It would be great to answer; this question because I know you have solutions for many problems.

Love,

Stephie

Hi Stephie!

Yes, I am having a super happy week. How about yours? Well, I read your question, and I always thought of bringing this onto the table but couldn’t. Well, health drinks are a great way to get minerals and vitamins into your diet. Many health drinks are available in the market right from juices to smoothies. They can be a great way to get some nutrients when you are on the go. But always be careful when you have to choose the right ones. Because the sugar present in them can be an unhealthy option if consumed in a large quantity. So, always make sure to look for health drinks low in sugar.

No matter which health drink you choose, just look for the ingredients. Ideally, they should be fruits or forms of proteins like milk. Try to avoid drinks having sugar as the first or second ingredient in the drink. Calories are equally important too. If these health drinks are to be replaced with something, then look for a label that has 400 calories per serving. Try to avoid drinks as snacks, but if you must, then never opt for something that provides more than 200 calories.

Love,

Petrica!
