I asked this question my parents, but they simply smile at each other and comment only one word, “Adjustment”… But today, I would like to ask you, what is the best way to ensure a happy marriage? I am so glad that you had asked me this question. When I saw my parents in a happy marriage, I did question my father about the same, to which he answered, “I keep your Mom as my priority”.
They have been married for the last 35 years, and this is one thing my father religiously follows. He treats her as his PRIORITY. Trust me it matters. Like even I cannot ignore my parents.
He would try her like his blood. He also added, “He respects the fact that she had left her home for him. All he could do is keep her comfortable”.
She is his partner and is not supposed to agree everywhere. They fight occasionally but have never crossed the line of respect. He will leave the room when he is angry but would never hit or abuse her because she is a woman. She should be respected in all forms.
He is her HE-MAN, and she is his Superman!
So, if you are not GENTLE with her, at least be a MAN for her!
