Hi Kiara,

It is February already, and I hope that you are planning for a special treat on this Valentine’s day for your Valentine? Well, it is my first Valentine’s day with Sophie, and I am clueless about what I should do. Also, I am a little confused about the idea of a perfect Valentine’s day. So, can you tell me your idea of a perfect Valentine’s day? I might get some help from you.

Love,

Timber!

Hi Timber!

What a coincidence!? I wanted to write about Valentine’s day and see you spoke about it. To be honest- I never found Valentine’s day appealing. Dressing in color-coordinated clothes, buying one rose for the whole year, taking my Valentine out for dinner, and then posting those pictures on social media, everything just seems passe.

Instead, I would go for an unplanned trip. Also, how about staying at home, helping your Valentine do the household chores, cooking together, and having some meaningful conversations over a cup of hot coffee? Or I would also not mind cozying up and watching a movie, preparing for a candlelight dinner at home, and topping it with a long warm hug and a kiss on the forehead.

You know Timber: as we lose ourselves amidst the hustle-bustle of our lives, we forget to live those tiny moments that make our bond stronger. It is important to ensure that the bonding between our Valentine and us keeps growing stronger as time passes by. Spending time together on just special days does not work out. So, the idea is to strengthen the bond by creating memories and not by just materialistic things, right?

Love,

Kiara!
