Hi Kiara!

How are you doing babe?  I hope things are fine at your end? So, last week, I was reading a blog on the ‘perfectly’ imperfect relationship.  Kiara, I believe in soul mates, but I do not believe a perfectly ‘imperfect’ relationship exists. Do you really think Kiara that there is still perfection in today’s imperfect relationships?

Love,

Simone!

Hi Simone,

I am doing absolutely well, and I will definitely see you once I visit the US. These days, whenever I think about love or relationships, there are people with whom we could experience a deeply fulfilling relationship. So, when we limit our search to that ‘perfect’ someone, we might inculcate a mentality of ‘window shopping. Also, these days, we give up too easily on what could be called the ‘perfect’ imperfect relationship. Since, childhood, we have been fed fairy tales, telling us that love should be easy, but darling, it is not. These days, with the advent of online dating, there is a danger of being too quick to discard possible matches. Though it is an excellent platform to meet the love of your life, personally meeting them and getting to know them is way different.

Anyone who has ever been in love actually knows that what looks good on paper isn’t necessarily what makes you happy in long term. So, rather than demoralizing us, these things should motivate us to be open and willing to really know that person in person. Whether it’s during your initial days of dating or the seventeen years of marriage, relationships inevitably hit rough patches.

So, never let that speak in your relationship die because this is a healthy means to keep your passion, excitement, and love alive.

Simone, love makes your life really beautiful, and therefore you are afraid to lose. Also, always find someone like you, who is ready to invest their time in you. So, stop looking for a perfect partner and focus on what needs to make that imperfect relationship perfect. I hope this justifies your question, Simone?

Love,

Kiara!
