Like, I have heard people say that we should make New Year resolutions, but every year when I try making one, I somehow cannot stick to it. So, please help me with the same. Happy New Year baby! I know, making New Year resolutions are difficult and what is more difficult is to stick by them. But Sarah, it doesn’t matter if you believe in resolutions or not.

If setting them is helpful, set them. If not, then don’t set them.
It is totally up to you to do what helps you.
Many years ago, I resolved not to set any New Year’s resolution in favor of simply doing things that would interest me. I do that every year because I love enjoying them. And Sarah, believe me, I have successfully achieved it every year since.
So, no New Year’s resolutions mean no stresses and strains associated with achieving them or not. Instead, the energy which is wasted in dealing with stresses is redirected into doing interesting things.
It is always worth asking yourself that:
- Will your life be better for you if you set New Year resolutions?
- Will your life be worse if you do not set any New Year resolutions?
So, if New Year’s resolutions work for you, then great! Go for it!
