Christmas is right around the corner, which means more Netflix time. Deciding what to watch during the holidays is a tradition, along with decorating the house, wrapping gifts, and kissing under the mistletoe. With the holiday season quickly approaching, Netflix plans to release several new movies and TV series. Several of these have already hit, while others will be out in December 2021. We have picked ten new releases that will count down the days until Christmas.

1) Love Hard

Do you enjoy Christmas romances? This one will speak to you. This story is about a writer from LA who swipes right on a match she thought was perfect only to discover that she had fallen for a scam after flying three thousand miles to surprise him for Christmas. Take the time to watch the new movie Love Hard starring Nina Dobrev, Jimmy O.Yang, and Darren Barnet. It premiered on November 5th, 2021, serving as a romantic comedy.

2) Christmas Flow

Are you a fan of European Christmas content? Look no further. A tenacious journalist and a famous rapper are drawn together in the French romantic comedy Christmas Flow. It came out on November 17, and it belongs to the Romance and French genres.

3) The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star

We’re getting a new Vanessa Hudgens Christmas movie on Netflix this year. That’s right; I’m referring to the third part of The Princess Switch. Not only is this sequel about the theft of a priceless relic, but it also introduces a new doppelgänger. Along with royal lookalikes Margaret and Stacy, we can see three versions of Vanessa in The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star. Comedy, drama, and family are woven together in this movie. 18 November is its release date.

4) Blown Away: Christmas

Take a break from the usual programming this holiday season by watching an episode of Blown Away. In competition with five returning artists, they display their holiday designs in the hot shop. Christmas cheer and a few Christmas competitions await you in this stream. A competition-based reality show will debut on Nov. 19.

5) A Boy Called Christmas

During a quest to find his father and bring the gift of hope home, a determined young boy finds himself in a magical world inhabited by elves. Soon, this well-crafted movie will become a Christmas classic. Worth checking out. This movie will be released on 24 November and has a Family/Adventure genre.

6) A Castle for Christmas

Next up is yet another romantic comedy. Here, romance blossoms between the writer and the castle. After escaping a scandal in her hometown, a bestselling author goes to Scotland to face off against the grumpy duke who owns the castle. Her only wish for Christmas is a castle, but will she get one? Tune in to find out. It debuted on the 26th of Nov.

7) Single All the Way

Smiles guaranteed! The movie is up and running. As part of the story, Peter, the protagonist, asks his best friend to act as his boyfriend when he visits his family. Peter’s family is hell-bent on finding him a partner, so they matchmake for him. What starts as a game ends with a newfound romance. It’s a single bell, a single bell, Single All the Way this December. Released on Dec. 2, the movie focuses on romance and LGBT themes.

8) A California Christmas: City Lights

Netflix’s original A California Christmas was followed by A California Christmas: City Lights. You can find out what happened one year after Callie and Joseph fell in love. Due to Joseph’s family business, the couple will have to leave their dairy farm, winery, and perhaps even their perfect romance when they move to the city. This romance will air on December 16.

9) Grumpy Christmas

Watch Grumpy Christmas on Netflix this December 22nd for some Mexican family drama. The plot is as follows. An out-of-control competition breaks out during Servando and Alicia’s family beach trip. Is Christmas really as magical as everyone thinks?

10) 1000 Miles from Christmas

Keep an eye out for 1000 Miles from Christmas if you want to watch something you haven’t seen before on Christmas eve. Spanish films that revolve around romance are perfect for the holiday season. It concerns the romance between a woman who is determined to change the perception of an auditor who hates Christmas. Due out on 24 December.
