So, if a piece of warm Apple pie makes your heart skip a beat or a slice of luscious, rich blueberry cheesecake tempts you, then you are at the right place. Here in this blog, I will be sharing five classic desserts from different parts of the world.

But before that, did you know that stress triggers a sweet tooth?
How are Sweets and Stress related to each other?
People have different mechanisms to deal with stress. Some of them binge-eat to get a sense of relief. I think we all have had times when we have completed the whole cake or stuffed ourselves with a pack of cookies. If you have tried it, you understand how they worked as stress relievers! Also, did you realize the wordplay between these two words? You will notice that Stressed spelled backward is Desserts. So, did you get the connection now?
Studies suggest that our body requires energy to meet the increasing needs of the brain while experiencing stress. Foods with loaded sugar are the best and easiest way to overcome such situations. In proportion to the amount consumed, sugar can have a positive effect on your body. It can raise your energy levels and, at times creating a burst of energy.
Such studies also indicate that sugar increases the production of Serotonin in your body. It is the hormone that makes you feel happier. So whenever you feel low, grab some chocolate cakes or bars and treat yourself.
However, even if you are not a dessert fan, here is a list of few desserts that you must taste once in your lifetime.
- The Classic American Apple Pie
You must have heard the phrase as American as an Apple Pie. It is sufficient to describe the importance of this to all Americans. This divine combination of apples and cinnamon is best to serve warm with a scoop of ice cream. The classic and comforting dessert became a part of every holiday meal. Apple pies always made their way to the tables, be it Christmas eve or a New Year party.

Apple pies are all about a beautiful layer of fresh apples seasoned with sugar, cinnamon, and other spices. What makes it extra special is the crust. The crust has a lot of butter that adds more flavors and crunch to the pie.
Although people debate about its origin being American or English, we would not discuss it here. The only thing that requires your attention is a warm slice of Apple pie with a large scoop of ice cream!
