Different people, different body shapes, and similarly different forms of diets. People these days run behind various diets without knowing what’s good for them, just because something worked for your friend doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for you.

While choosing a diet plan or consulting a dietitian the common question that usually arises is that, will it work for me? Is it as effective as it seems? The simple answer to these questions is YES, diets work.

Before jumping into anything else let’s first see how many types of diets are there, how does diet helps us to shed few pounds or gain a few and what are some things that we can keep in mind before following a specific diet.

A few things you can invest in are a food scale machine, a weighing machine, and a few home workout equipment to practice daily along with your diet which will help you in the long run.

A dietitian is a person who’ll go through your lifestyle, sleeping patterns, etc to understand your body better. Other facts such as height, weight before and after meals can altogether be calculated to conclude that what kind of diet is suitable for your body.

Following a diet blindly can be a little risky so you can also do a bit of research on google/Instagram that what are your fellow mates practicing so to obtain a little knowledge.

There are various kinds of diets which include ketogenic diet, Intermittent fasting, vegan diet, low-carb diet, Atkins diet, zone diet, calorie deficit diet but regardless of the diet people have noticed their desired results disappearing after a certain period so to save yourself from this know that our bodies change and so will the diet and it’ll only work when you will.

Along with the diet know how to indulge in daily curricular things that include physical movements i.e. working out at the gym, doing Zumba/aerobics, or anything else that will help your body to move which is so much better than relying on on a specific diet.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR DIET?

A diet can take several weeks or months to show significant changes but it is expected for you to see minor changes within 2 weeks or so. Diets in general can be changed with seasons as you can accordingly change and eat all kinds of nuts, fruits and veggies and if you don’t see much changing in your body weight then you can change it but changing everything again and again won’t help in the long run. Either a person can stick to the same diet that works fine for them or else can change once in a while with the advice of the concerned person who is looking after all this.

PRO TIP : If you plan your own things and diet as well keep a track on your weight and write down the daily intake o calories and research a bit for yourself that what works the best for you and your body and while you prepare your diet plan keep all our needs in mind and work accordingly to what fits best to your weight loss/gain plan.

Know that anything or everything will start showing its effects once you start helping yourself. So, do eat healthily and in the right proportion but also remember to push your body every day to do something that your future self will be thankful for.

A healthy you start from your gut health, make sure you count the appropriate calorie intake and also take small cheat meals so to keep all the cravings at bay.
